If your child is taking GCSE's, A Levels or vocational qualifications in the next two years or needs re-screening to determine their current needs, I am happy to liaise with your child's school before an assessment. By building this relationship with school before an assessment, any qualifying scores can be used in an application for Examination Access Arrangements. A school is unable to use scores from a diagnostic assessment unless contact has been made before the assessment.

Where there is sufficient evidence, Access Arrangements may also be implemented for entrance exams, 11+ exams and for certain academic contests. If you think you / your child should have Access Arrangements in place, please ask the organisation what they require to implement this.

Although recommendations for interventions and Access Arrangements are made in a diagnostic or screening report, it is a school decision which arrangements are put in place. Any arrangements must be the child's normal way of working in school.
